Lawmakers to FCC: Fix Your Website

Agency reports also called out as incomprehensible

The Federal Communications Commission, the independent agency in charge of regulating the fast-moving communications industry, took a beating from a number of lawmakers about its own poor communications. Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle took aim at the FCC’s website, which was redesigned a year ago.

The comments were made during an oversight hearing before the House Subcommittee on Communications Technology, which focused on complex technological tasks on the FCC’s agenda such as auctions to free up more spectrum for wireless services.
