Lamar Odom's PSA for Life Insurance Awareness Month
Off the court, Lamar Odom has gone through his share of personal heartache.
The Los Angeles Lakers forward lost his mom, Cathy Mercer, at the age of 12 to colon cancer. As a result of that tragedy, Odom signed on to be a spokesman for Life Insurance Awareness Month and appeared in a PSA on behalf of the Life Foundation.
