LA Screenwriter Wins Wendy's Burger Contest
Ian Van Camp, a screenwriter from Moorpark, won the Wendy’s This is My Burger contest. His winning entry is the Philly Style Hoagie Burger, which consists of two fresh beef patties, sliced ham, Genoa salami, American cheese, fresh onion rings, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato and creamy Italian dressing, all on a premium bun. This mix of genres in show biz lingo could be pitched as
Rocky meets American Graffiti
or
Twelve Monkeys meets Good Burger
Van Camp wins $25,000 for his creation, which will be served at Wendys.
