LA High School Grad is Apple of Tech Journalism’s Eye
Thanks to a flurry of effusive media coverage, 18-year-old graduating Milken Community High School student Mark Gurman (pictured) is getting a unique sendoff as he prepares to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Abor this fall.
Gurman’s ability to publish scoop after Wall Street Journal-beating Apple scoop on the blog 9to5mac.com was first heralded this week by CNN Money/Fortune magazine. From there, he has been trumpeted by The Huffington Post, NBC Southern California, LA Weekly and The Daily Mail.
