Carmen Trutanich, Environmental Attorney, and Jack Weiss, Los Angeles City Councilmember, 5th District, both vying for the office of city attorney in a well-publicized runoff race, will debate each other, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy. The nonpartisan organizations TOWN HALL Los Angeles and the League of Women Voters of Los Angeles will host the debate. KNBC’s Conan Nolan is the moderator.
