Kobo Beats Amazon To The Punch & Introduces A New Line of eReaders
Amazon is expected to release a new line of eReaders today and in the meantime Kobo has beaten them to the punch. The Canadian eReader company, which is owned by the Japanese company Rakuten, has introduced a new line of eReaders called the Kobo Family. The collection includes three new devices: the Kobo Glo, Kobo Mini, and the Kobo Arc.
The $79 Kobo Mini is a 5″ eInk eReader. This looks to be the smallest eReader in the marketplace, unless of course, Amazon introduces a similar device at today’s press conference.
