Kieran Murray Is Named Reuters' Washington Bureau Chief
He'd been news editor for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Kieran Murray has been named Washington bureau chief for Reuters. Murray has been with Reuters since 1992, starting out as a stringer in Central America. Fast forward 24 years, a number of regions and promotions later, and Murray is, most recently, news editor for Latin America and the Caribbean.
“I know that experience will serve him well as he arrives in Washington at the start of a new administration and at a time when we are building on our record of success in covering stories from American foreign policy to financial enforcement,” said Kevin Krolicki, regional editor of the Americas, in a note to staff.
