Kerry to Hold Senate Hearings About Newspaper Industry
Starting April 30th, Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) will head up Cap. Hill hearings about the problems facing the newspaper industry.
The Senate hearings are the latest effort to bring attention to the sinking industry following the intro of Sen. Ben Cardin’s (D-MD) bill that would allow papers to restructure as non-profits.
