Maine Newspaper Typos Trump's North Korea Threat

Kennebec Journal rolls an extra 'R'

If you want to have some fun this August morning, assume for a moment that the headline on the top-right hand corner of the front page of Maine’s oldest newspaper is in fact correct.

In this, the strangest presidential-term first year in our history, it almost makes sense that the 45th POTUS would warn North Korea of “Fire and Furry.” Perhaps there is a feline Special Ops team up President Trump’s sleeve, ready to slink into the Hermit Kingdom and unleash, at microchip-collars command, an incendiary offensive.

We’re guessing the editor who capped off this AP story for Journal readers had a pet (or two) on their mind.
