London Transplant Mobilizes LA Fashion Bloggers
We’ve all heard the social media term “flash mob.” But per a nifty LA Times blog item by Booth Moore, we may soon be reading a lot more about the similar sounding “fash mobs.”
That’s the name of a new initiative put together by 27-year-old Brit Kelsi Smith. Per an inaugural July 24 event in the Los Feliz district, the idea is to use social media to organize and promote pop-up, runway-free fashion events:
Smith moved to LA from London in 2005 to pursue acting but wound up become a fashion blogger instead.
