Kelly Awards Honor Best in Print Ads

At a time when consumers are seeking comfort and diversions from their economic woes, entertainment and liquor campaigns were among the top winners of this year’s Kelly Awards recognizing the best in magazine ads.

Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and its client the National Basketball Association won this year’s grand prize Kelly Award for its “There Can Only Be One” magazine ad campaign. The campaign promoting basketball games on ESPN, ABC and TNT helped boost TV ratings 61 percent.
