Keilar Joins CNN's White House Team

CNN congressional correspondent Brianna Keilar is leaving Capitol Hill later this month.  It was announced today that Keilar has been promoted to the network’s newest White House correspondent.

“Brianna is an outstanding addition to the White House team,” said Washington Bureau Chief David Bohrman in a press release this morning.  “She has distinguished herself with exceptional coverage of the 111th Congress and her new beat will better position the network for the 2012 election season.”

Prior to covering Congress, Keilar served as a general assignment correspondent for the network and a CNN Newsource correspondent, where she provided breaking news coverage and reported from the nation’s capital for approximately 800 partner stations.
