KCET Heads to Burbank
Today is KCET’s last day in its longtime Sunset studios. The station is moving its operation to two floors of the new Pointe building on studio row in Burbank.
“We’ve been on the Sunset lot since 1971,” says KCET’s executive director of communications Ariel Carpenter. “It’s the end of a legacy and the start of a new era.”
Kind of reminds us of when the LA Weekly moved to Culver City a few years ago. Bit of a bummer.
