Kathy O'Hearn Named VP at The Daily Beast/Newsweek
Former “This Week” executive producer Kathy O’Hearn is leaving the TV news business to join the Daily Beast/Newsweek. O’Hearn will serve as a VP at the new joint venture.
She was most recently at CNN where she served in a number of roles, including as executive producer of Campbell Brown’s 8 PM program and executive producer of Christiane Amanpour’s show.
O’Hearn left “This Week” in 2008 to oversee ABC’s special event politics coverage, and moved to CNN in 2009.
