Kabam Announces Marvel Contest of Champions for Mobile

Last week at San Diego Comic Con, core mobile game developer Kabam announced the development of Marvel Contest of Champions. Developed by Kabam’s Vancouver Studio, the upcoming mobile fighting game sees players collecting popular Marvel heroes and villains, and taking them into battle against one another on smartphones and tablets.

The game is set to feature a wide variety of characters, including Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, DeadPool, Storm and more. Battles take place in “iconic locations from the Marvel Universe,” as players “build their ultimate team of champions.”

While little additional details are currently available, we know Marvel Contest of Champions will launch worldwide in Fall 2014.
