We hope you’re sitting down, because we’ve got some crazy news!  As of this afternoon, Justin Bieber has officially become the first person to reach 3 billion views on his YouTube channel, JustinBieberVEVO.

It’s been almost exactly one year since Bieber beat Lady Gaga to 2 billion views last October.  Starcount gave us the heads up about this news via email, letting us know that “although he is now the most viewed person on YouTube, the pop prince was pipped to the post by Lady Gaga for the 1 billion milestone in 2010 but has since been unbeaten on YouTube, with his song ‘Baby’ still the most watched YouTube video in the world with over 791 million views.”

Bieber’s latest video, ‘Beauty And A Beat’, has already racked up more than 43 million views, no doubt spurring on the onslaught of views that took the singer over that 3 billion view...
