Just Kidding! Scotland Yard No Longer Investigating Murdoch's Brit Papers
Shortly after announcing that it would investigate allegations of cell phone hacking made by British newspaper The Guardian against Rupert Murdoch’s British newspapers, Scotland Yard said yesterday that there would be no additional investigation.
Scotland Yard Assistant Commissioner John Yates told The New York Times that there was “no additional evidence” in the Guardian story that was not already part of a British policy inquiry into two Murdoch-owned papers’ activities three years ago.
However, this may still not be the end of this scandal.
