Just Call It Ari-chitecture

On today’s episode of radio show “The Business,” Claude Brodesser-Akner–our former brother-blogger until the ladies took over–discusses the white monolithic headquarters of LA talent agencies. Within the next few years, all four big shots (CAA, Endeavor, ICM and William Morris) will have erected imperious new shrines to celebrity.

Neil Denari talks about his work for Endeavor’s new office, most intriguingly, designing for the various agent-assistant means of communicating: to make sure they can document all client conversations, some assistants are seated right inside the agent’s office, while others are seated outside the office, but behind a glass partition so they can still maintain eye contact. You know, so when Ari lies to Vince about the Ramones project, Lloyd can see him winking.
