Julia Ioffe Cut From Politico After 'Tasteless, Offensive Tweet'

Incoming Atlantic reporter Julia Ioffe has had her Politico contributor contract ended early after editors caught wind of a tweet she sent Wednesday afternoon. It read, “Either Trump is fucking his daughter or he’s shirking nepotism laws. Which is worse?”
Ioffe deleted the tweet and apologized: “I do regret my phrasing and apologize for it. It was a crass joke that I genuinely regret. It was a tasteless, offensive tweet that I regret and have deleted.
