Jim Rome's Filly Wins Breeders Cup Turf Sprint

Nationally syndicated talk show host Jim Rome has had quite the list of accomplishments over his 20-plus-year career.

He can now add Breeders Cup winner to the list.

Rome’s filly, Mizdirection, won the $1 million Turf Sprint on Saturday at Santa Antita Park.

Coming into the race, Mizdireciton was a 20:1 underdog before eventually falling to single digits.

The rich get richer.
