Jay Mariotti: Purse Snatcher

What a disaster. Not only has ESPN’s Jay Mariotti been charged with domestic battery after an altercation with his girlfriend in Los Angeles last month, he’s been charged with grand theft for stealing her purse. Those are just two of the seven charges the L.A. City Attorney’s office has slapped on Mariotti, which could carry a maximum jail time of seven years. The ESPN talking head is expected to be arraigned on Friday.
