Jason Horowitz Named Rome Bureau Chief for NY Times

A new role.

The New York Times has named Jason Horowitz Rome bureau chief.

Horowitz, whose latest stint with the Times began in 2013, most recently wrote political features and profiles for the paper.

Horowitz previously worked for The New York Observer and The Washington Post. His earliest Times role was as a news assistant in Rome.
