James Brown, Dead at 73
The Godfather of Soul died at around 1:45 a.m. today, after being hospitalized yesterday with pneumonia at Emory Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta. Longtime friend Charles A. Bobbit was by his side, according to the LAT, which pays homage to the Hardest Working Man in Show Business with a few MP3s of his kick-ass music on its homepage.
