Jack's Back: Jack Dorsey Returns as Twitter CEO; Adam Bain Named COO
Dorsey will keep his responsibilities as CEO of Square while taking the helm at Twitter.
As many speculated, Jack Dorsey is back as Twitter’s CEO. Dorsey, has been the interim CEO of Twitter since July, after Dick Costolo stepped down. Twitter made the announcement early Monday morning.
Dorsey will (for now, at least) keep his responsibilities as CEO of Square, while taking the helm at Twitter. Dorsey is one of the co-founders of Twitter.
Dorsey elaborated in a conference call with investors:
My commitment to Twitter runs incredibly deep. No one is more determined than I am to see this company achieve its promise.
