Ex-GE CEO Jack Welch Quits Reuters Because Of Tweet Backlash

There have been plenty of repercussions of people taking to Twitter to vent their frustrations, most involving either athletes (and other athletes…and more athletes), political activists or politicians themselves – but the latest Twitter snafu happened to a certain Mr. Jack Welch, arguably one of the top CEOs of all time.

Welch, the former CEO of General Electric, has quit his writing position at Reuters and Fortune due to some negative responses he received after sending a tweet.

Yes, you read that correctly: this titan of industry quit because of some Twitter teasing.
