Jack Griffin to Replace Ann Moore at Time Inc.

Jack Griffin, formerly of business-to-consumer publishing giant Meredith Corp., will soon take over for Ann Moore as chief executive of Time Inc., The New York Times reports.

On Monday, in an announcement of Griffin’s departure from the president’s office at Meredith’s national media group, the company said Griffin was taking off to “pursue another opportunity.” Now it appears we know what that is.

Says the Times:

Although Ms. Moore’s contract runs until December 2012, she has said that she was open to leaving earlier then if the right person came along to take over.
