iTunes 8.2.1 Update Says "Shields Up" to Palm Pre

Apple’s iTunes 8.2.1 iTunes description contains the statement seen in the screenshot above: …and addresses an issue with verification of Apple devices.. Of course, we know it really means the issue is with a non-Apple device – the Palm Pre.

And, Pre focused sites like PreCentral.net confirms this…

Of course, I don’t think anyone is surprised by this. From Apple’s point of view, the Pre is a parasite that needs to be eliminated from the system.
