Drama! Suspense! Excitement! Just your everday ordinary Pumpkin Festival in Windsor, Nova Scotia up in everyone’s favorite northerly neighbor. This year’s festival promises to be a real hum-dinger, thanks to the promised presence of Martha Stewart, everyone’s favorite formerly incarcerated domestic diva.
Martha had big plans to raise money for the Children’s Wish Foundation by rowing a pumpkin across Lake Pesaquid — until she was stopped by the long arm of the law. Seems that Martha needs special clearance to leave the country — even to go to Canada! — and any such trip needs to be okayed by her probation officer.
