It's Istanbul Design Week (Not Constantinople Design Week)

Our Eastern correspondents have alerted us to what’s shaping up to be an amazing event should you find yourself in Turkey later this year. September 4-10 is Istanbul Design Week, where the thriving design community–named ‘Design City’ by Wallpaper* in their Design Awards 2007–takes over the city. The activities center on what might be the coolest venue ever, a historic bridge that was damaged by fire in 1992 and resurrected for the event by those forward-thinking designers.
