Is The Continuous News Desk Being Disbanded?
Interesting nugget in Harry Jaffe’s piece this morning:
The continuous news desk, which shuffles stories between the newspaper and the Post web site, was disbanded.
That’s certainly news. Is it true? Is there an announcement to be made (our Post sources tell us that it hasn’t been made yet).
It’d be interesting to think of the Post without that desk. It’s pretty vital to their operation…would it shut down and then be picked up by washingtonpost.com under Liz Spayd’s leadership?
