Is That a Hard Drive in Your Pocket, or Are You Just Happy to See 56 Years of Playboy?

Playboy is putting the “hard” in hard drive, teaming up with Bondi Digital Publishing to release a 250-gigabyte hard drive containing every issue of the magazine from 1953-2010, totaling more than 650 issues and over 100,000 pages.

The universal-serial-bus-powered hard drive sells for $299.95, and it is compatible with Macs and PCs. The device measures three inches by five inches and contains 200 GB of extra storage space.

Playboy said in a statement:

Why would you let more than 650 of your favorite Playmates celebrate the holidays in a damp garage, stashed under your bed, or crowded together in the basement, when you can bring them all together beneath the mistletoe this year?

And Bondi co-founder Murat Aktar added:

This is the first time that Playboy, one of the most influential brands on the globe, has offered its entire archive in one place.
