Is Facebook More Popular Than Porn In The U.K.?

That’s how BBC interprets recent data from Experian Hitwise regarding U.K. online traffic.

BBC appears to have sexed up Experian Hitwise’s findings. During January, social media sites accounted for almost 12.5 percent of all U.K. web traffic, while entertainment sites that include pornography got almost 12.2 percent.

We see no break-out of how many of the entertainment sites are X-rated ones, so calling these findings the first time that Facebook has outranked porn among U.K.
