Is Apple Planning a Media-Related Event in NYC?
There’s a hot rumor going around this morning about Apple, and it has something to do with eBooks.
According to a number of industry sources, Apple will be holding a media event later this month. There’s no solid info yet on what they will announce, but TechCrunch is reporting that “the event will not involve any hardware at all and instead will focus on publishing and eBooks (sold through Apple’s iBooks platform) rather than iAds. Attendance will also be more publishing industry-oriented than consumer-focused.”
