iPhone 4 Display Color Changes When Viewed Through Polarized Dark Glasses
The iPhone 4’s display doesn’t have the polarization problem the iPad has (display becomes invisible with polarized dark glasses on). However, it has its own little polarization quirk. If you look at the iPhone 4’s display through polarized lenses, it takes on a blue-green tint in portrait mode and a purple (violet) tint in landscape mode.
