iPads & Kindles Getting Closer to Being Allowed During Take Off & Landing

Things are looking good for frequent fliers that want to read their Kindle books and listen to music on their iPhones during takeoff and landing.

A safety advisory panel has recommended to the Federal Aviation Administration that airline passengers should be allowed to use their personal electronics when planes are below 10,000 feet.

This has been in the works for over a year now and it could be getting closer. The panel sent these recommendations to an advisory panel on Monday.
