Invite Your Friends to a YouTube Social
YouTube viewing parties are now possible thanks to the launch of YouTube Social, an effort by SocialVision to combine the features of Facebook’s Social Graph with chatting via IM, TechCrunch reported.
Users who type “social” immediately following “youtube” in the URL for any YouTube video will automatically be redirected to the platform, where they can invite friends by sending them the URL or using Facebook Connect, with the latter resulting in automatic chat messages generated via Facebook, according to TechCrunch.
