Instagram released the first update to its Instagram Stories feature, continuing to liberally “borrow” from Snapchat.

The Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network announced in a tweet (embedded below):

New to Instagram Stories: Zoom with one hand! Just slide your finger up while holding the video record button.

This feature already existed in Snapchat Stories, as did a second feature not mentioned in the tweet but pointed out by Karissa Bell of Mashable, via several Twitter users: the ability to switch between devices’ front-facing and rear-facing cameras while recording.
