Instagram: How to Save a Reel as a Draft

Instagram Reels can now be up to 30 seconds long Instagram

Did you know that Instagram allows you to save your Reels videos as drafts before sharing them? For instance, if you’re interrupted in the middle of creating a Reel, you can save the content you’ve created so far as a draft and come back to it at a later time, rather than being required to start your video over from scratch. Our guide will show you how to save a Reel as a draft in the Instagram application.

Step 1: Once you’ve recorded or uploaded one or more clips, tap the arrow icon (“>”) to the right of the capture button.

Step 2: Tap the arrow icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Tap “Save as Draft” under the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
