Instagram added a chat sticker to Stories, which allows users to invite their viewers to join a private group chat. Our guide will show you how this sticker works.

Step 1: Once you’ve taken or imported a photo or video into Instagram Stories, tap the sticker icon at the top of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the chat sticker.
Step 3: Type a name for your chat. This is the name that will be used for the group chat in your Direct inbox.
Step 4 (optional): If you want to change the color of the “Join Chat” text, tap the colorful circle at the top of the screen.
