Did you know that Instagram allows you to delete comments you’ve posted, as well as delete comments shared by other users on your own posts? Our guide will show you how this works.

Step 1: Swipe from right to left on the comment you wish to delete, until you see the trash can icon.
Step 2: Tap the trash can icon.
Note: Instead of lifting your finger after you see the trash can icon in Step 1, you can also continue swiping from right to left until the trash can area expands in size and covers up the other icon(s) in this menu.
