Instagram recently released its checkout feature as part of a closed beta with 23 brands. It allows users to buy items they see on Instagram without ever leaving the application. Our guide will show you how to buy something in the Instagram app.

Step 1: Tap a picture to see which items in the picture are for sale. Note: If you’re looking at a brand’s profile, you’ll know which pictures contain items you can purchase by looking for the shopping bag icon in the top-right corner.
