GIFs can now be added to messages on Instagram Direct.
Instagram said in a blog post that tapping the new GIF button in the composer bar in any message thread will bring up a library of trending GIFs, powered by Giphy.
GIFs can also be searched by keyword or phrase.
Or people can tap “random” after typing in the search bar to include a random GIF with their message.
The feature is available to all iOS and Android users.
