There were 650,757 posts on Facebook Sunday related to Super Bowl ads, compared with 583,152 tweets, and Budweiser was the most discussed advertiser, while the most engaging advertiser was GoDaddy, according to statistics from social marketing platform Engagor.
Engagor also found that:
- The top hashtags were #bestbuds and #salute for Budweiser, #beckhamforhm for H&M, and #cuptherapy for Butterfinger.
- Mobile accounted for 90 percent of social buzz surrounding ads during Super Bowl XLVIII.
- Three times more posts came from iPhones than from Android devices.
- California, Texas, New York, Florida, and Washington were the states that generated the most buzz.
