Lonnie R. Merriett, 59,an award-winning sales manager for CQ Press’s Government and Professional Division, died of a heart attack March 13 in Germantown, MD, where he lived.
Mr. Merriett was a long-time volunteer and active in his community and church. He was a deacon of Montgomery Baptist Church, in Montgomery Village, MD,and servedon Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services and Black Ministers Conference and on the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.
