Imus Replacement Quitting Boston Radio Show

So if you’re Mike Barnicle and your career as Boston’s Jimmy Breslin was derailed by multiple accusations of plagarism, things might not be that easy. Despite working for the Boston Herald and New York Daily News after his forced resignation from the Boston Globe, Barnicle’s main bread and butter for the past few months has been his daily radio show. But the Globe reports that Barnicle is quitting his own radio show.

The columnist turned down a two-year renewal contract for his daily morning show on WTKK in a surprise move.
