IMDb Sued by Actress for Revealing Her Age

Never ask a woman — or an actress — her real age.

An unnamed actress is suing Amazon.com and the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) for $1 million after the website revealed her real age.

The website posted her age after she became a member of IMDb Pro in 2008. The actress feels the only way IMDb knew her age was through “credit-card interception.”

The complaint was filed last week in U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington by “Jane Doe.”
