IGN Entertainment, a video game media outlet owned by Ziff Davis, has named Wade Beckett chief programing officer and senior vp of video.
Beckett most recently served as Fusion’s chief programming officer and senior VP of production. Prior to joining Fusion in 2014, Beckett worked as a supervising producer for ESPN.
“The combination of IGN’s 20-year brand credibility in gaming and entertainment coupled with Wade’s experience in delivering original programming will cement IGN’s position as a leader in video for games and geek culture across all screens,” said IGN GM and co-founder Peer Schneider, in a statement.
