ICSC Proposes New Web Guidelines... An Attack on Content Farms?

Watch out content farms -and the freelancers who produce materials for the sites – because the Internet Content Syndication Council (ICSC) is coming after you.

The industry group that includes large content syndicators, like the Associated Press and the Chicago Tribune Co. have proposed a set of guidelines for publishing on the Web. This proposal could effect members of the group, and because of the size of the organizations, all companies on the Web. It’s also a clear shot at the encroachment of content farms, like AOL Seed and Demand Media, although the group doesn’t specify it.
