IAC Shutting Down Personal Finance Website FiLife.com
IAC and Dow Jones have shut down personal finance site FiLife.com, paidContent reported today.
The closure affects 19 jobs. Some of the affected staff will be absorbed into IAC or DJ, but not all.
PaidContent reported last month that the site was “running on borrowed time;” it also said that the site had lived “a bit of a tortured life” ever since inception.
Yet just a month before that it was chosen by FastCompany as the most innovative finance company for its social game-like features.
