Honda’s creative ad in honor of Distracted Driving Awareness Month forewent the sobering images used in most distracted driving PSAs, while still getting across the same message: Don’t text and drive.
The National Safety Council recognizes April as Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The council urges people to:
- Stop using cell phones while driving.
- Recognize that hands-free devices offer no safety benefit.
- Understand the dangers of the cognitive distraction to the brain.
- Tell others about the dangers of cell phone distracted driving.
